A common management foundation

Every MBA pathway provides a coherent foundation in leadership and organisational behaviour, strategic management, financial and managerial decision-making, marketing and customer value, people and performance, operations, governance, responsible management and applied business research.

This integrated foundation enables graduates to evaluate business problems from multiple perspectives rather than treating strategy, finance, people and operations as separate concerns.

Learning through application

AMU students are expected to analyse realistic cases, apply frameworks to organisational issues, evaluate evidence and produce practical recommendations. Where appropriate, assessments may allow students to investigate their own workplace or enterprise, subject to confidentiality, ethics and assessment requirements.

The final stage of the MBA may include an applied capstone or business project that integrates learning across the program.

Program duration and progression

Approved duration, credit requirements, subject sequence and accelerated-study options are stated in the formal program specification. Students should not rely on generic completion claims because duration may vary according to entry pathway, credit and study load.
